Mavion News has elected not to air the United Kingdom's RBSC 2026 performance, submitted by the Northwest Radio Network. Accordingly, voting for the United Kingdom entry is disabled across our portal for the duration of the contest.
Voting notice: Votes cannot be cast for the United Kingdom through the Mavion portal. The entry remains listed for transparency, but its voting controls are disabled and any submitted votes are rejected.
Background
On 12 April 2026, the Northwest Radio Network (formerly operating under the Tahoma Media Group family of brands) issued a press release announcing a complete rebrand and a public disaffiliation from a number of organisations, The Mavion Corporation and its affiliates among them.
"Effective 3:30am PDT today, all branding — including Tahoma Media Group, Tahoma Media and Communications Group, Pike Place Radio, DTMG-FM 94.1, DTMC-FM 91.1, TMC Radio, TMC and TMG — will be indefinitely discontinued and will no longer be used. We would also like to clarify that we are in no way affiliated with Inline, Mishra Music Group, Team Mishra, Mishra News, Astera Group, or tagnzz anymore, following recent events at another private company involving intellectual property."
Given that the Northwest Radio Network has publicly and repeatedly distanced itself from The Mavion Corporation and our affiliates, we consider it inappropriate to platform or solicit votes for its entry through our own broadcast and voting infrastructure. The decision is editorial, and applies only to distribution and voting on the Mavion portal — it does not affect the United Kingdom's standing with the host broadcaster or the wider contest.
On the network's stated reasons
Northwest Radio Network has attributed its departure to the Astera Group's claims that The Mavion Corporation took Astera's camera equipment — allegations we firmly reject. For the record, the network's disaffiliation was not a matter of principle taken in our defence or against it: it came only after its leadership had been dismissed and removed from the organisation then operating as TahomaMishra. The decision to publicly "cut ties" arrived after that removal — not before it.
We will let readers draw their own conclusions about the timing.
Our position
The Mavion Corporation stands by its operational decisions, its management structure, and the platforms it has built — including TMCast, which continues to be developed in the open and has been a point of reference for others in the Ro-broadcasting space. We welcome and encourage that influence.
We consider the present disagreement a matter of differing direction between organisations, and we have no further comment on the internal affairs of other companies. Our focus remains on delivering RBSC 2026 to our audience.
Background context
Separation from Tahoma Digital (2024–2025)
The Mavion Corporation was formerly associated with Tahoma Digital during its early development. As the organisation expanded its networks and internal structure, it separated to operate independently under its own leadership and branding. This separation allowed The Mavion Corporation to focus fully on its own broadcast vision, management structure, and media direction without external oversight.
Dispute with the Astera Group (2023–2026)
The Mavion Corporation was involved in a public dispute with the Astera Group, another organisation in the Roblox media space. The disagreement centred on organisational practices, partnerships, and differing approaches to media operations. While the situation created tension between the groups for a period of time, The Mavion Corporation continued to focus on its internal development and network growth. The matter is regarded as a notable moment in the corporation's history within the Roblox media community.
