What is TMCast?
TMCast is TMC's broadcast platform. It powers our internal radio operations and is available for public hosting — anyone can run their own internet radio station on our infrastructure.
Do I need ASCAP licensing?
If you plan to stream copyrighted music, yes — you'll need an ASCAP (or equivalent) license. TMCast hosting does not include music licensing. We offer an ASCAP licensing service through mavion.tmc.gg/licensing to make it easy.
Can I go live with a microphone or DJ software?
Yes. Pro and Business plans support live DJ connections via standard broadcasting software like BUTT, Mixxx or SAM Broadcaster. You get dedicated mount points for seamless handoff between AutoDJ and live.
How do the five priority layers work?
Guest DJ input (1), Studio input (2), scheduled playlists (3), weighted rotation (4) and random library (5). The highest layer with audio playing wins, and each falls back to the next automatically — so a partial schedule, or a dropped live feed, never leaves you with dead air. Use one layer or all five.

How do I get started?

Can I use a custom domain?
Yes — Pro and Business plans support custom domains. Custom domains need a quick consultation first so we can set up the IPs and redirects on our side. It's fairly easy: about 5–10 minutes of setup, then 1–2 days for everything to be fully live and propagated. Point your domain (e.g. radio.yourdomain.com) at your TMCast station and we'll configure SSL automatically.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — all plans are month-to-month with no contracts. Cancel anytime and your station stays active until the end of your billing period.
